Anxiety Counselling in Squamish
In person in Squamish and online across BC
Support for worry, overthinking, panic, and feeling constantly on edge.
Anxiety can lead you to rush through decisions or put them off altogether. It can also make it harder to feel connected to yourself and the people you care about. In counselling, we can slow down, understand what is happening, and find a way forward that fits your life.
You might recognize things like…
- Worry that keeps returning, even when you try to talk yourself down
- Replaying conversations or worrying about how others see you
- Avoiding decisions or conversations because they feel overwhelming
- Feeling tense, irritable, or unable to switch off or slow down
- Trouble sleeping, concentrating, or being present with people you care about
- Panic or physical symptoms such as a racing heart or muscle tension, or upset stomach
Sometimes the reason to reach out is less obvious: a relationship feels strained, a big decision is looming, or you feel held back and stuck without really understanding why.
How anxiety counselling can help
We can look at when anxiety gets louder, what you do to get through it, and where those patterns leave you stuck. Then we can work with anxious thoughts and body sensations, approach avoidance at a manageable pace, and make room for the choices and connections that matter to you.
What working together can look like
We start with what is happening for you and clarify where you feel stuck. Depending on your needs, we might work with anxious thoughts, practise ways to respond when you feel overwhelmed, explore different sides of an inner conflict, or clarify a career or life decision. I draw on well-supported approaches, and we check together what helps in your day-to-day life.

How do I know if my anxiety is bad enough for counselling?
You do not need to wait until anxiety becomes unmanageable. If worry, fear, overthinking, or avoidance is taking up too much space in your life, counselling may help.
